Wakatipu Gold Suite
Looking for the history of the original homestead? Well, it was Queenstown's first brewery. The Wakatipu Gold Suite is in the section of the lodge that was formerly the "brew house". The original lager was called "Wakatipu Gold" after the lake and the history of the gold miners here on Battery Hill.
This suite has a real lodge theme. With private access and a personal spiral staircase to the main house, this suite offers much privacy! Have breakfast on the deck right outside your double doors surrounded by the Hazel-N-Rose garden. Watch as native nectar eating birds land at trees and feeders all around you.
This suite is very comfortable and offers full lake and mountain views! There is a lovely table to dine at in front of the windows.
